Match Preview: City Vs Liverpool

In recent times, Manchester City vs Liverpool has always favoured the home side. City have won the last two fixtures at home convincingly beating Liverpool 3-0 in each of the last two years. One of those games was the first and still only game, Sheikh Mansour has attended since his arrival as City owner in August 2008.

A Match Report: City vs QPR

Of late, Manchester City vs Queens Park Rangers has been a superb game for any neutral who watches the game. With fourteen goals in the previous three games between the sides, you wouldn't be accused if you bet on another goal fest. However, sadly, it really turned out to be the opposite of anything the games previous have produced in the eighteen months since QPR rejoined England's elite.

A fans view on Saturday's cup tie: "Somewhere between sh** and syphilis"

My relationship with the Britannia dates back to November 2010; I decided to go for the league fixture just to tick one more stadium off my list. So began a very interesting link with a club I have never even looked at twice before. The day was great, the performance wasn’t, the result was 1-1 (a bit of trend these days) and I just had to go back. I’m not even sure why I always want to go, the place has no appeal to me at all, my friend is convinced it was the bacon (no idea, he just blurted it out in the pub one day) but something personal hit me that day, and my ‘Stoke rants’ are now a cause of amusement between mates. It is also worth noting that I have never once seen a win at Stoke in 4 visits, all have been 1-1 at full time (one 3-1 loss AET in FA Cup replay). This time just had to be different.

Match Preview: City vs Stoke (Fa Cup 4th Round)

With City in no question their best form of the campaign, can Roberto Mancini finally go away to the Britannia Stadium, the home of Stoke City and take home a victory. Yet another convincing performances by the Blues last week means they are the only team now in the entire country not to concede a goal in this calendar year. A fleet City will no doubt be hoping to match against the side they beat at Wembley in 2011 to finally end their 35 year trophy drought.

Valuation For Players

Since massive take over in the Autumn of 2008, many of the names that our beloved club has been linked with the four and a half previous years are some that us blues could have only dreamed about for the past fourty years.

Being linked with the likes of Lionel Messi, Cristano Ronaldo and Kaka, whom are probably the greatest three footballers of our generation is beyond amazing for any blue to see and with City having signed big money players such as Carlos Tevez, Yaya Toure and World Cup winner David Silva then success was always pretty imminent.

Match review: City vs Fulham, Home 2013

In recent history, Saturday's home game against Fulham should have favoured Roberto Mancini's men, and with United facing a tough test away at Tottenham, surly it would have been a perfect chance for the Champions to close the gap at the top.

A Father's Advice Never Fails

Naive? Mental? In love? Stupid? All these words have come to my mind over the last 14 years of supporting Manchester City. One thing is for sure, all those things I may be, but I don't think any of us would change it for the world.

Match Review: City vs. Arsenal

38 years ago a Manchester City side went away to Arsenal in the league and won, with goals from Asa Hartford, Joe Royle and Rodney Marsh, but little did they know it would be January 13th 2013 before City would go there again and finally win a game in the league at the home of Arsenal.

Edinson Cavani, overpriced or perfect for Manchester City?

As many of you know on twitter, I have repeatedly followed the story of Edinson Cavani and the rumours of him leaving Naples. With a rumoured €62 million buy out clause, there are a very few limited clubs that can prize Cavani away from the Stadio San Paolo.
